I'm impressed with the quality of the stock Alpine speakers compared to the speakers that came in the 2005 Elise. Much better system right off the bat. I'm going to keep those in there. Instead I'm just going to add the Stealthbox if it will fit, add the Alpine PDX-5 to amplify everything, and change the head unit to the JVC KD-NX5000 (with the bluetooth, iPod, rearview camera - a must from my experience so far in parking lots - and possibly Sirius Satellite as well).
I can always EQ and/or PEQ certain frequencies depending on the cabin noise...
