My friend said that the FE (Formula SCCA) is slower than a FC but faster than the Formula 2000 we race with Skip Barber. I've raced nothing but the Skippy car so can't offer an opinion. Perhaps if FE's and FC's are raced together (as open-wheel groups shrink) the FC's are quicker.
