I drove my first Elise today an 06 w/ stage 2 exhaust. Nice drive. I have been planning to buy one in the next few months. I was impessed but had a couple of draw backs, Not enought for me not to buy but still a draw back. As you can tell from my name Lotus type 74 I am a (was) Europa TCS owner. This Elise is harder to get in an out of than an Europa, the shift throws are longer than I would have thought and the pedals need to be closer. I know there is an aftermaeket fix for that. But I did like the car alot. It seems that a new air intake and new exhaust should shave a ten off the 0 to 60 time but I think time is lost because the shift throws are so long. Is there an upgrade for that?
