Yeah, I won't go if I can't get it resolved. $500 down the drain. You need to match revs and double clutch. Actually, the Lotus is the hardest car to do it on I've ever encountered. You have to get it exactly right.
So with the problem happening, I observed the slave cylinder while a friend worked the clutch. It was giving a decent stroke...probably about 2 inches. Is that how much I should be seeing? I'm hoping the problem will go away again so I can observe it when its working. I'm going to remove the slave cylinder and re-bleed with the nipple help high...sort of a last ditch effort. I can't imagine a mechanical problem coming and going like that, but I also can't imagine getting that much stroke and a stiff pedal with a hydraulic problem. Arghhhh!
