Okinawa is about the same latitude as the very south tip of Florida, so the sun will kick your a** over here mid summer. My A/C has to fight non stop to keep the car somewhat cool during the day on the highest setting with the air recirculating. During the night it has zero problems keeping the car cool. I'm going to get some clear UV tint put on the side windows some time in the near future to see if that will help out.
