I cut a 1" wide section out the u-bend. Dead center. Basically cut the tube on either side of the O2 bung. Used an upright belt sander to get the angle I needed and welded it back together. Installed a new O2 bung.
Phil heated his with a torch and jacked it into position. He's a better man then I !
It's possible that it might fit a small dia muffler. The angle of the u-bend pushed my can too far towards the rear of the car. Makes sense?
