On a curios note,why people are so fascinated by chrome rims in America? I see bimmers that have these big chrome rims, even on Mercedes, makes me puke. Is there any real reason for the chrome dipped rims?

FYI, Many times those "chrome rims" aren't chrome at all but polished aluminum or other alloy.
