Hmm, that's interesting. I rode in the R56 MCS and it seemed like an okay ride. Nothing to fancy or fun, IMO. My uncle had a Miata for his first car and still to this day says it is the funnest car he has ever had.
Maybe it just has to do with expectations or driving style. All I know is that the Miata is an iconic sports car while the R56 MCS is stuck between being a sporty transport and being an oversized, tall, small wheeled ( and small spaced), death trap. Seriously, why has Mini/BMW, put such thin wheels on the MCS? Is it to cut costs or is there another reason?
