Nope it's the shifter. We measured all of the individual cable throws in each gear and 3rd is always 1/4" shorter than the stock shifter. We compared it to a stock Elise and a Cup car and they have the exact same cable travel, so it's the shifter.
We had another track member that had a brand new Cup and FVMC installed one in his and he had the exact same issue, no 3rd and no Reverse.
