Obviously I'm not a car mechanic! I miss working on bikes at the moment... no HVAC.
I was going to do it myself andf I have attempted quite a few things on my own as far as cars go. Timing belts, lowered suspension, raised suspension, replaced transmissions. etc. When I talked to the dealer he said that it was a rather complicated job and since I couldn't find anybody else that had done it on this board I decided to just bring it to the dealer. He told me that I would probably end up ruining most of the A/C lines because they are steel and aluminum and that they have fused together amd most probably would not come apart easliy, if at all. I figured it would be money well spent.

Hopefully you can get it done yourself with no problems. Take some pics and post them up as you do it so future members can have an idea of what to do.
