Calabasas -- Fire crews are battling a brush fire near Las Virgenes and Lost Hills Road.
The fire is burning dangerously close to some homes in the area.
Fire trucks are positioned throughout area neighborhoods to protect homes.
At least three water-dropping helicopter are battling the fire along with ground units.
