Im generally left leaning on social issues, but this is one area where I am about as far right as you can get.

The more assholes makes excuses for these people the more they will continue down that same path. They give them a reason to act this way by saying "They are a product of their environment"

That is bull****, 100%bull****.

My mother left my father when I was two years old. She went on welfare, moved into the projects, and went back to school to learn a skill to support us. We lived in the projects for almost 5 years until she finished school. After that, she found a job and we moved OUT of the slums.

I turned out just fine....Im 24 and married, household income more than DOUBLE the median for this part of Florida. These losers have no excuse. Bad parents are to blame here, and a system that perpetrates this lifestyle.

Because I have this personal experience, I believe in having a welfare system, however in its current state its abused far more than its used the way it should be like in my mothers case.

So, from a mostly liberal guy, I do NOT agree with these idiots
