If she was someone working a blue collar job it would have been impossible. I have read that it would take 15 years for someone from Mexico to come here legally if they could even come up with the money to start the process and prove they have a unique skill

My first wife was a German national. We were married while I lived in Germany. I had to jump thru all the same hoops to get her a green card so that her and my daughter could come to the USA. Being here in America is worth the work and effort involved in getting here legally.
This is the only way we have to keep undesireables out of the country. See my post #32 for the results if we don't control immigration.

I'm a conservative and proud of being one. I don't run from the title. People on the left hate being called 'liberal' and run from the title. I guess the new title that they like is 'progressive'.
