The switch and pannel should arrive today from Lotusgarage, and I already found the hot wire in the trunk that comes from the switch / relais.
I thought that now I just need to find a good ground connection to make this work.

I haven't heard back from the comapny you are using for the km/h gauge faces. I emailed them on Friday in English, so I had my friend (who is German) email them again today in German. Hopefully I'll hear back from them soon.
I had the fog light installation done at Lotus of Tallinn. The tech said the issue was there weren't enough wires (or circuits?) for the side marker lights and rear fog light, so some modifications were required. I saw on the thread you referenced that early Elises didn't have wiring for the driving lights, so maybe mien is an early model and it's related to that.
