We've been able to control VVT-i phasing since day one. When we originally set up this ECU for 2ZZ (in early months of 2006) it was specifically for Forcedfed's turbo kit and at the time we opted for boost control instead of modulated cam control. The dyno data supported best results with the cam timing "locked" in position under load, thus switched w/ load & rpm.
A lot has changed since then. With new revisions to the ECU we are working on adding even more features.
The VVT-i phasing is currently being worked on and will be ready for release very soon.
