So, FINALLY got these little guys installed today. A few install notes and comments:

First, beware the torque specs posted on the website. They may be spot-on, I don't know. But I do know that I've almost stripped the top bolt of the front mount following those specs. It may be gone, but I could get it to lock up but not torque down. So I left it as tight as possible. After that I used my regular ratchet and common sense and was able to get everything else tightened down very well. Maybe that bolt was stripped from the factory and I'm beating myself up over it? I dunno...but the posted specs might be a bit risky. They are close...I would drop 5-8 ft lbs off each one, and then check for bolt backout, like I will be doing. Don't use a torque wrench. It's too risky in these tight areas. Not enough room to turn the wrench to get an accurate read.

Second, I found that I could use my 3" ext for most of the bolts. Only the driver-side front bolt on the rear mount required a u-joint on the ratchet to work around all the stuffs. Though deep sockets did come in handy for the front mount for finger threading the bolts down.

Aligning the bolts for the front mount as was a PAIN. Take your time.

Next, when doing the rear mount, notice the job is easier if you reinstall the long bolt last.

Bring a mallet. Once the inserts are in the mount doesn't slippety-slide in and out like it did before. Might take some good forceful taps.

The mallet comes in handy when installing the inserts into the mounts as well. My front mount was easy..they just slipped on in..snuggly, but nicely. The rear inserts just about had to be beat into the mount. My rear mount was odd I think. It was like the holes had not been completed shaped out or something. There was even a thin layer of the compound left covering the holes that I had to poke through and tear out. I did find that using my lighter to melt away the little remnants helped to make the insert fit much more easily. Still needed a few whacks from the mallet though to get them seated.

My 07 has a heat-shieldish looking metal item that covers the rear mount. Yours may too. If so, you need to remove it of course to get to the bolts. It is held on with two 8mm bolts, one on the driver side facing rearward and one on the passenger side facing upward. It kind of rolls out around the frame and exhaust.

After a very brief test drive, using my own scale I'd have to rate the cabin vibration as a 4, with the understanding that the car was probably a 2-3 to begin with. Everyone's comments are spot-on...The additional in-cabin vibration is minimal. Shift feel is unreal.

All in all a smooth install. Final verdict: Great item. Definitely high bang for the buck here.
