Fred beat me to it while I was drawing.

I did the belt on my own by using a breaker-bar that was sleeved by a steel pipe that I could slide up the shaft to clear the floor then slide down and touch the floor past 6 o'clock. Attached is a picture for demonstration. Tell me if there is something wrong with doing it this way. The pressure let the pipe stick and I could remove the belt on my own. Essentially you slide the pipe down when its past 6 o'clock and let it catch against the floor.
