It should be said that there is no real proof that excessive speed was the cause of the accident. The speedo on the ground could have been set that way.
Be careful of what you view on the web...it is not always what it seems.
edit ....In response to the above post...read all the posts. I believe it said that Jack did make it to the hospital, but passed from blunt force trama to the heart.
That car was probably cut away by the jaws of life.
