Maybe the combination of the two (more air) disturbs the flow of air past the MAF, confusing the readings and the tune.
It would seem that the de-snorkle and the
stockfilter would keep the airflow smoother and possibly not lose any power?
Was that combo tested, if not what's your theory Fred?
