Below is the exact wording cut and past from my transaction activity page on PayPal, while the payment was still in the unconfirmed/pending status:
"Status: Pending
This payment is still pending. In case you are shipping an item please wait until the payment is completed."
He had made payment to Paypal, but Paypal had yet to confirm the funds.
Did what I was told. Wouldn't have shipped the item otherwise.
