I went to Costco and they had the Optima Red Top 75-35
I think The Viper said he got a 75-25 when I called him after seeing his post, but the 75-35 fits and seems to be the same size but is about 1/4 longer in but their is no way to get the cover on. I even tryed it to see if the cover would fit on top when the battery eas out of the car and it just a tiny bit too small.
The original battery had a recessed area that the cables laid on top of, but the new one is flat so the cables make it about 1/4 higher in total and I placed the new battery so that both post sides face towards the middle of the car, inside of having them towards the fender. This way it will be easier to jump start the car since it was a pain to do it when the terminal posts were hidden in the back. Also there is a place to add extra terminals on the side of the battery that faces the center of the car, so it will be easy to hard wire in a portable air compressor or other 12 volt device into the trunk in the future.
It has about triple the CC amps so I doubt I will have any problem with it not being able to start the car.
Just a reminder if you have the Blaupunky LA radio- The little SDcard has to be put into radio, since disconnecting the battery makes the radio go into anti theft mode and not work.
