From what i've read on other forums, these are an excellent auto-x tires since it requires minimal warmup time to reach maximum traction levels. This would be good for auto-x since you spend an entire day for 3 runs and your tires will warm up quickly. However, i haven't heard much feedback from road course duty since i'm concerned the tires could heat up too fast and could get greasy after a few laps.

But, they absolutely rock as a daily driver tire and if you like a tire with stiff sidewalls, these are plenty darn stiff! I've had them on my car for 500 miles for some highway/canyon driving and they grip almost like a R-compound thru the twisties. I only paid $151/each thru tirerack for 255/40/17 to give you an idea on how inexpensive these are.
