I ended up getting the 205/50/16 and 235/45/17. The tires are .5" taller overall OD in these sizes but at least they are .5" taller equally so there are no ABS/rake issues. I'm very happy with them and the car is 10X more comfortable on the street than with the A048's although the super sharp turning response is reduced. I will say I like the RE-01R's more still though but not for the price difference. Can't comment about autocross though since I don't autocross my car.
