I do not track or the car. It is only driven on the street and I am looking for a tire that will hopefully go a little more than 9000 miles if that is possible.
dont need wet grip and Im willing to give up just a little in dry grip if the tires will last! They are just bald after only 9000 miles.
What tires should I look at to replace the rears?? size? brand? price?

The stock, non-LSS, tires are 175/55/16 up front and 225/45/17 in the rear. Whatever sizes you get, I think it is best that you a) match the diameter of the new tires and b) the diameter should be close to stock.
Use the tire calculator to figure it out:

CosmosMpower got the 205/50/16 (front) and 235/45/17 (rear). The front are 0.5" bigger in diameter than the stock. The rears are 0.3" bigger in diameter. Is that a big deal? Probably not.
Hope that helps.
