Concerning LOTEDC racing, keeping the rules tight and racing the cars that come from the factory are exactly what makes a series grow. Just look at PCA Club Racing in America: the Cup car class is by far the largest class -- by far.
I just wish that the powers that be in the western US based LCS come to understand this. For if they don't what they will end up with is heavily modified DE cars and uncompetitive classes. And if you don't think so just look to BMW CR's Prepared classes!
I guess if you want an unlimited class then fine but what is the point of racing in a one marque series if you are racing somebody in different machinery?
