Got the battery charged and the car started again. I tried the V1 and it definitely turns off when I turn the car off and remove the key. (So, I think my wiring handy work was ok). Usually, I pull the key out (to shut everything down) and then push it back in and leave it in the garage. I have a feeling I forgot to pull it out last time and that is what led to the power drain. Anyway.........thanks for all the help.

By the way, see Post 41 of my other thread on Jump Starting. If anyone has any ideas as to what would have caused an Engine Malfunction Indicator Light, I'd appreciate your insight.
