I have to admit I've also started being haunted by the new M3, can't help it, but it's sexy as hell in person and may be a bit more comfortable for the wife (a can nut in her own right, nonetheless).

I'm on my second lotus (Elise and now s240) Elise had window, soft top, headlight switch issues. Mostly petty stuff but still issues. S240 has had front suspension issues both cars fixed under warrenty. Yes it is a hassel but the cars have a driving experience that is simply awesome. I wish build quality was better but it's something I look past as I love the cars.
An m3 is such a differant experience and the plushness is nice but don't expect that with an exige as you need the mind set or you will be selling it. Drive them, evaluate, enjoy
