The record for a LONG Lotus vehicle run must be held by our leader... the Amazing Randito. He crossed the country from Georgia to California in one of the very first Buzzbombs to hit our shores. 
I've done SoCal to Texas in my Esprit. With Ol' Buzzy though it was typically under 250 miles one direction.
