I recently made a round trip from LA to Phoenix...400 miles each way.
My right ankle would get a bit stiff after about 200 miles of non-stop driving, but a quick stop and walk around took care of the that.
I have made several long trips in the Lotus before and each time felt the car was quite comfortable for "touring" purposes.
While the Lotus does not match the overall comfort of my DDs (Audi A6 and Allroad), I wouldn't think twice about driving anywhere long-distance in the Lotus.
