The Tripod joint is the weak link on these Honda conversions. I am not sure if Composites has solved this with their subframe but it would be worth looking into it.
that's not quite accurate...

the issue was one of the driver selecting 1st at 100+ Mph (in place of 3rd), the shock of this broke the bearing carrier in the intermediate shaft, this in turn let the tripod flap round untill the stafts moved appart and the centre of the tripod broke loose and went though the oil filter....
