The drag gets more pronounced past 60mph.
Soft tops are permitted at all the tracks I know of.
Some guys remove the soft top because their
helmet touches the soft top.
The soft top(10lbs) weighs much less than the hard top(25lbs) as well; but
the hard top has better aero. (less drag)
