For those of you who want to get a camera gripper for your car (if you are careful and keep both the panels and suction cup free of dust it leaves no marks (not that I could see anyway, even with a torch  ) this site ( Camera Mounts for Cars) has everything and at $89 it seemed pretty reasonable.
