I have a 289 Cobra(a real one),a 1962 Elite (ZF box)and a 1970 Elan with an ultra close ratio box--------I have had an S2000.
IMHO, NOTHING shifts better than the early Elan. NOTHING!
But this is off topic,as our new Lotus are mid-engine,and the shifter cannot be as good as a front engine,RWD car. Cayman/Boxster is very good,however.
