I was one of the first ones in 2007 to race a NA elise in T2 at the runoffs and got my ass kicked. But I did get some picture time in sports car for an ad for the runoffs. So I parked the car in 2008 and watched someone else do a bit better but kept going backwards during the race. This year as Jeff stated they finally put the SC version in the class but I still think its weighs too much. When I raced the elise in 07 I had to bolt 175 lbs in the car. Yeah thats fair. But the main problem with the car is, it can't take a hit at all. During the runoffs there is always some bumping and shoving and the elise, exige can't take it at all. You must make it to turn 1 first and never look back which is very hard to do. I wish you the best Jeff and if there is anything I can help with let me know.
