Its been a while since posted some pictures .Did not have much time to mess with it in last couple months ,so the plan to finish it by end of March seems a little unrealistic . Final bodywork took a while ,didnt want to do halfa$$ job because car can look only as good as bodywork on it . Went to paint store last week to buy materials just to find out that they can't even mix Lamborghini Arancio Borealis with their top Chromabase paint .They send me to diferent shop . $300 for quart . And what surprised me the most is its not orange base and then mid pearl coat . The base colour is white and then you have to build it up semi transperant orange pearl ,same exact thing as candy colour . Elise is pretty small car but putting 4-5 coats it still comes to about 3 maybe even 4 quarts . So just paint comes down to around $1000.
If it was street car its one thing .So Im kinda to square one as far as paint . Found House of kolor makes candy orange that looks kinda similar have ordered quart will see how it turs out .
These pictures arter final bodywork . Im sure for some it will look like step back .
