I've been through custom engines before... Twin Turbo VR6 and AWD conversion in a New Beetle took 9 months even though it was not the first (this 2ZZ will be a first and probably the most powerful N/A 2ZZ on the planet, for now ...
). I blew the motor in my 97 Porsche Turbo in Oct 2007 and am having yet another custom engine built for it; it's been gone for a year and a half.
You gotta pay (and wait) to play the custom engine game...
