Rob, good points... unfortunately I don't know enough about Lotus' testing to know to what standards they design and test.

Seems like we have a couple design issues:

- fuel starvation
This seems very widely reported. Seems like a biggy.

- rev limit?
Are others dropping valves at high RPM on factory stock motors, or was this more of a fluke? Do we know this was definitely an RPM-induced thing?

And a bonus...

- oil starvation
A Moroso pan seems like an easy add for a track pack, and Rob, I think your data shows a pan works just fine for most conditions, versus an accusump? Is it possible you have more precise and extensive data under varied conditions than Lotus does? Maybe they'd like to see your data?

theob, yes, it'd be fabulous if you could get some feedback from Lotus on these items!

These seem like relatively simple issues for Lotus to address, versus transmissions failing or something, and sound like they could make a huge difference.
