Chester,
I recently purchased an Elise that has an Ekological low beams. I don't know which kit, but they are pretty bright and have a blue tint. I have a few questions and am posting them here because your answers may be of interest to other customers:
1. The HID lamps are very focused and the beam has a distinct edge that is somewhat distracting. The edge is fairly low. I don't see anything in your instructions about aiming the beam. Any suggestions? Is there a reason why the upper edge of the beam is so sharp? It's almost like there is a shade on it to keep the beam from going high.
2. There is a gap in coverage between the HID low beams and the high beams. In other words, there is a dark spot ahead of me where the HID edge stops below the coverage of the high beam. Again, maybe this is an aiming issue. Any suggestions?
3. There are dark areas within the HID beam, that also are somewhat distracting. I think these are shadows from the bulb structure. Is it possible to diffuse the beam a bit to eliminate these dark areas?
Thank in advance for your reply.
