I installed these mounts last week. There is somewhat increased vibration at idle, but not enough to make any (new) noises. I do notice a little more shudder starting out from a total stop. But, at the track last weekend, the mounts were a HUGE improvement, particularly in corners that required downshifts. I no longer had to wait for that half second for the engine to stop moving around to get securely into gear. The whole brake/downshift/back on throttle process was seamless, and I loved how solid the transmission (and whole car) felt! I was raving about the mounts to the other Lotus owners at the event. This is one of the best mods I have done to the car, and definitely a great bang-for-your-buck.
