For me personally I don't have the need to feel exclusive. Think this car has great potential. Second year build would be the time to roll on one.
I'm not sure of the pricing in the US, but here in Australia, the Cayman S when optioned to the same equipment standard as the Evora (I used Porsche's on-line configurator) is about 5% more expensive.

I know from when I bought my C4S, that Porsche options are expensive!
