Too funny, some folks just don't get it. Under 700 LHD LoCorts built and a total of 3100. With the cash infusion from Ford Motor Company for the Cortina project (type 28), the Lotus Cortina along with the Elan (each with the Twin Cam) in 1963 made one of the steps possible for Lotus Cars stay in business to serve up today's offering of cars.

p.s. - did you forgot the fuzzy dice on the mirror?

p.p.s. - I bet that 289 with the quad Webers sounds pretty nice, might even put a smile on your face just like any other Lotus does.
