Charlie, I won't be driving it to Vegas now that it is running good. I am still coming out to Vegas in a couple weeks to get married but we decided to fly. It would be a long trip in the Lotus (2000+miles each way) and difficult to fit luggage for 12 days. Besides I was able to get round trip airfare for $266 per person round trip.
Matt at Monkeywrench was nice enough to buy my original transmission since I was spending a lot of money there, so the European trans was only an additional $1200, but I also had previously spent money to have a LSD placed in my original trans. It is a nice upgrade for the car and already has the LSD installed. I can not comment on if it would fit a Exige 265 but I would imagine so. I believe it is the same engine, so it should. I just have to say that I Really like the gearing with the additional power. Otherwise, I would be shifting constantly and it would actually slow me down.
