I used to joke with various passengers that the rear window and rear view mirror were required to see if the engine was on fire!
After three or four people thought I was serious I stopped. Nobody GOT the joke, I had to explain it. It was just too cruel to spread misinformation about a car so few people even know about.
I do still joke with people about the airbag warning and the "children in safety seats should ride in the back seat" stickers on the visors. And the back seat in an Elise / Exige would be....
