I wonder if you could stand the bag on end in the seat, and then fasten the seat belt...semi-serious about that...or, maybe remove a few items and throw 'em in the boot, though probably just pads or gloves. I wouldn't put a helmet or skates in the boot without lots of padding or something like the sector111 bootie.
