It starts at about 2900 rpm, the pitch goes up a little but above 4k rpm the exhaust is so loud you can't really hear it. It doesn't sound like the pitch gets higher and higher, it is more constant I would say.

I'm thinking about taking the belt off and starting the car to see if it has something to do with the idler pulley or broken alternator bracket (suggested by another member).

I'll try to get video if I can't figure it out tomorrow.
