I think with the extremely low worldwide volume, they won't have to lure
any porsche owners to convert. This will likely be appealing to people that might be in the market for a more expensive GT (such as a porsche) but want something people don't see every day. Let's face it, there aren't many choices out there to fill the void.
I think they've done a terrific job at it honestly, and I'll likely end up grabbing one instead of a baby Aston (Vantage V8) once they become available... even though the Aston is clearly the more refined/better car. I hope by the time they release a SC model they've ironed out some of the kinks though - this car has great potential!
