Unfortunately, Trek has quit making their frames in the USA. Almost everyone has Cannondale may be the last big manufacture that is not out sourced. The 2009s I don't know? High end Bianchi's are still Italy I believe. Being a Klein owner I would think you are looking for something a bit more upscale. I picked up this 2007 bike used on ebay last year. My local dealer (#1 bike shop in Portland) could not get me a 2008. This is quite the frame for a semi-mass produced bike. The seat rear stays are so soft they flex like a passive shock absorber system. Cannondale has been refining their aluminum tubing profiles for the last 20 years. The welds are near the quality of Klein. Of course Ti and carbon frames are said to be an even better ride. It's all how much you want to spend.
