Yes, correct... a fender washer or equivalent would be recommended since the holes in the clam are probably too large for a typical 5mm washer.

I took the following 3 photos at the top, middle, and bottom of the side scoop... I hope this helps with determining the grille dimensions. Don't mind the ghetto electrical tape on the front edge of the scoops...
