The folks that wanted to do this - would like to see it as a regular Saturday get together. They remember the days when everyone would met at a local [name that place here] for coffee, conversation and cars.
If this works out, they should be there every Saturday. Right now, I've heard from many that are "up North" and they can't wait to get back and met in the Fall.
