++++++11111111 for a fuse, always, always, always, protect with a suitable rated fuse....am I clear
I chose C2 because it had a higher circuit rating and was one I rarely used (wipers). I was using it for a dash mounted 12V outlet. For very low amperage requirements C1, C2 or C3 could be used. I would stay away from C4 as it has ECU implications.
